After a frustrating week of weather, the Bombers Baseball Program is gearing up for an exciting week. The week gets started at a frantic pace with 3 games on Monday, May 19th. The 12u Bombers take the field at Ozzies’s Field B at 6pm. It’s been over a week since the 12u team competed so it’s going to feel like their first game all over again.
While the 12u Bombers are in action at Ozzie’s, the 5/6u Bombers take the field for their second game at Westhoff Field #3 for their 6pm first pitch. Immediately following the 5/6u game, the 8u-Ashby Bombers face their toughest matchup of the season in a contest between unbeaten teams as they welcome St. Paul on Westhoff Field #2.
Tuesday night showcases the 8u-Scachitti Bombers in what will likely be their toughest game of the year as well. The 8-Scachitti Bombers face the Cyclones who have yet to drop a game this year at 6pm on Westhoff Field #2.
All teams will gather on Wednesday at T.R. Hughes Ballpark for individual, team and a program picture. Players are expected to be at T.R. Hughes by 5:45pm in full uniform.
A big part of the outstanding Bombers Gear Order has arrived and will be distributed this week. Several items are still on their way, but the bulk of the Fan Gear order has arrived. The respective coaches will be distributing the orders as soon as it’s available.
