The 8u Bombers came out swinging on Wednesday night in their season opener at Westhoff Field #2. While several players were deserving of the special recognition, game balls were issued to Gage H. and Jackson P. Gage contributed two hits and a key defensive play when he threw a batter out at first base from his right field position. Jackson was dialed in at the plate going 3 for 3, hitting the ball hard in each at bat.
Jackson finished the game with a team leading 4 RBI on the night, tied with Nate E. and Carter A. who also drove in 4 runs in the game.
The 8u Bombers are back in action next Wednesday, 6pm at Westhoff Field #2.
